As Sylar's power grows, he makes a public demonstration to the world by killing the vice-president of the United States. Outraged, the United Embassy passes a vote for the termination of all human's possessing abilities, and re-establishing the Company, voting Noah Bennet at it's head, agreeing to Noah's terms that his Daughter Claire Bennet not be harmed. Now Noah leads the fight against the human's with abilities.

Noah manages to coerce the Haitian back into the Company, and he begins altering selected prisoner's who have abilities, changing thier memories so they would fight against their own kind, yet seeming to those altered that they chose the life of working for the Company, bringing back the old Company adage: One of Us, One of Them.

Peter Petrelli, with the assistance of Mohinder Suresh and his brother, Nathan Petrelli, have branched out across the globe, creating Safe house's all around the world for those with abilities, and bringing forces of their own to defend against the Company.
Peter has another plan, and he knows it might lose everything he held dear. He attempts to convince Sylar to help stop the Company, but will Sylar listen?

After the Time-Traveler Hiro Nakamura's death, and Peter losing his time-travel ability from his father, is there hope? Without a link to the past, or the ability to travel back in time, the choices are simple. Fight the rest of the human kind, or hide in the shadow's.

But it is anyone's guess who will win, as Isaac Mendez and other Precognitioner's desperately attempt to view past the many choices individual's will make, how will we know who will win or what will happen?
