Biography/History:John was born in 1984 to his parent's Lynda Bauer and Gregory Bauer. His life was very simple, wake up, go to school, get home, and watch television. Growing up wasn't always that hard for him, but he knew something was wrong with him. Often he would scrape his knee, or cut himself on some sharp object, and watched as the wound closed right back up. John never paid any mind to it, he just figured that it was normal for him.

When John was 18, he joined the military, wishing to protect his country and keep his home safe. Of course, he was one of the best soldier's, always fighting, even when it seemed impossible, he'd been shot stabbed, and even burned, but he would always heal right back up. His army buddies never said a word to anyone about what they witnessed.

Then, he was assigned a mission, to assassinate an official that was needed to be silenced. It was a covert op's mission, nobody was supposed to be harmed except their target, and that was the way John and his troop's kept it. They snuck onto the compound, past the sleeping guard's, and got into the official's room, John's buddies watching the door. Just when Johnathon was about to kill the man lying on the bed, his eyes shot open, and grabbed Johnathon by the neck.

The official pumped raw electricity into his vein's, frying him like a scrambled egg left on a sidewalk. The man tossed John to the side, unaware that John was healing himself from his injuries. The next few minutes were filled with his friend's screams as the official electrified each of his allies.

Healed, John rose, stepped behind the man, and stabbed him in the back, quickly reaching up with his free hand and breaking the official's neck. John ran, fleeing the compound, guard's shooting at him as he hauled himself out, getting shot multiple time's in the back.

John returned to his outpost, reporting the loss of his comrade's lives. The general mumbled angrily, and said that John was to be discharged of disloyalty, believing that John fled from his mission.

So John returned to New York City, and rented an apartment. Soon after, Noah Bennet approached him, saying that he knew of John's ability, and wished to recruit him, so that they could capture people with abilities to prevent further death's like his friends. John accepted the offer, memories of his dead comrades in his mind.

Personality;John has a bit of an angry personality, and yet, he can have a calm one just as easily, switching between the two in time's of a crisis. Mostly, he is calm and collective, strategically planning strategies, obsessed with hunting down others like him to get revenge for his fallen brother's.

He takes thing's at a slow pace at time's, others he simply rushes in gun's blazing. But overall, he is a mellow and calm person, only using his rage when it is needed.
